A brand new year is here, which means there are plenty of opportunities to learn more. One of the ways that we think is a great venue for learning is to attend conferences. If you're in the creative field, the Oro Design Conference is back this year with an even more interesting line-up of speakers.

ODC 2020 is happening on February 15 at the Xavier University Little Theatre in Cagayan de Oro City. The conference isn't exclusive to creatives in CDO and to one industry only. Whether you're a graphic designer, an illustrator, or an entrepreneur – as long as you're interested in learning more about design and creativity in general, we highly recommend attending the conference and here's why.

Getting up close and personal with the speakers.

Joining the second Oro Design Conference is a rare opportunity to hear and see designers in different creative fields speak about their craft. Seeing their work is one thing, but being able to witness how their techniques transpire into their significant outputs, is a whole other dimension.

This year, And A Half, Dan MatutinaJan Buragay, Chingkee Te, Joey Sendaydiego and Marcelino Cahig will be sharing their stories and lessons learned in their craft. You might pick up a lesson (or more) from their experiences.

Meeting new like-minded people.

ODC is an avenue that proves the city's once small art community is continuously growing into a much bigger one. Many are as interested and more open now to design which is a surefire way to get to know other enthusiasts, meet and build networks with creatives.

Last year, Raxenne ManiquizVIGIGeraldine SyHarvey TolibaoSofia Abellera and Megan Palero spoke about their journey and shared their stories to 200 plus attendees.

ODC 2020 tickets are on sale now. Early bird tickets are available for 450 Pesos for students and 500 Pesos for professionals and are being sold until January 11, 2020 only. After that, regular rate for students is 550 Pesos and 600 Pesos for professionals.
