Last Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, was a pre-planned weekend for Chingkeetea and Vivre. Weeks prior, Chingkee Te has sat down with the site to talk about her many planned passion projects. One of them was the recent Pink Revolution: A Weekend Gathering of Tea and Art

True to Chingkee’s pink party vision, the gathering took place at the newest uptown branch located at Xavier Square. Smothered in pink painted interiors, the pink party was clad in rose-colored served food and party theme decorations.

Chingkee’s main purpose with the Pink Revolution was to simply gather women in one afternoon where they could freely converse mostly about anything, drink Chingkeetea’s famous tea and create something wonderful. She had envisioned a small group of ladies where everyone could openly interact with one another and make a piece of art.

10 lucky ladies were chosen to be a part of the Pink Revolution who won via Facebook and the host, Adeva Esparrago whose wit and quirks made the afternoon even more captivating. Divided into two groups, the girls painted away and allowed where their paintbrushes could take them. There were no inhibitions, rules or a certain formula, everyone was just encouraged to make something on their own. After all, art exists everywhere and art is for everyone.

Pink Revolution is one of the many events that Chingkeetea will host this year. There are several more scheduled on March, April and in the later part of the year.
